Well, 2008 went off. It was a roaring success once again with locals, visitors and friends all enjoying a fantastic day filled with fun, games and good company.
Many many thanks to all sponsors and donators for your very generous support once again and to all our new comers.
This year was packed once again with games that all the family could join in and enjoy and they did. Another fantastic Fireworks display thanks to Rachel and Vulcan Fireworks. And men, did you enjoy the Blitz truck as much as the kids, this was an awesome display donated by new community member Ron and his family Welcome and thank you, it was a highlight.
The mega raffle draws were a brillant success, thank you to all donators and ticket sellers. The Major Raffle of a wooden outside Picnic table and seats, (donated by Rachel and Damien) was won and collected with jubilent woops.
The tug O War was won by the Tullegulla Tuggers pulling their way into the spotlight this year after a gruelling set of heats, thank you teams for participating and hope to see you all again in 2009.
Young James Cooper is once again the World Nut Shelling Champion congrats James very well done, not as easy as it looks folks, but well worth the challenge.

2007's theme was ROCK 'N'ROLL

The Organisers would like to thank all those that made the 2nd Annual "BAUPLE NUT BASH" a very enjoyable event.

Dispite the threat of rain the day kicked off at 2pm and continued thru until midnight.

The event was held at the BAUPLE RECREATION GROUNDS.
Bauple, 30 km south of Maryborough and 40 km North of Gympie. Home of the BOPPLE NUT (origin of the MACADAMIA.)

Entertainment on the night was Gold Coast Band

"HI-WAY1"

Activities included the WORLD NUT SHELLING CHAMPIONSHIP, with young James Cooper taking out the first prize of $200.00. Alex Liddell was Runner-up.

The TUG O WAR, saw last years " Woods" team win once again claiming the $250.00 Prize.
"BOPPLE NUT HOLE IN ONE", Plus
a MAGNIFICENT FIRE WORKS DISPLAY and Much More.

For the Kids there were RIDES, GAMES, COMPETITIONS & so much MORE.

FOOD, DRINKS, SNACKS, a LICENSED BAR, AND STALLS were all onsite for convenience to those attending.

So come along in 2008 for a FUN FAMILY DAY out at the
Annual BAUPLE NUT FEST,

Nomination fees:
Bauple Nut Shelling Competition $ 5.oo pp.
Tug O War (5 team members) $ 10.00 per team.

Prizes:
Bauple Nut Shelling Competition: 1st Prize - $200.00, name and year on the Perpetual Trophy Belt, a take home trophy and a certificate.
2nd Prize: - a take home trophy and a certificate.

Tug O War Competition: - 1st Prize - $250.00 (to be shared between team members.) The Team name & year on the Perpetual Cup Trophy. A medallion and certificate for each team member.
2nd Prize: - A Medallion and certificate for each team member.

KIDS PRIZES: - Trophy's, medallions, ribbons & certificates are all up for grabs.
